Giving Back: Booking One More Program in 2016

last-client-16In early November, I attended Michael & Amy Port’s Heroic Public Speaking Live workshop with several of my Convince & Convert colleagues. Our aim was to get better at all public speaking, but especially the workshops we conduct and the presentations we do weekly for clients. I quickly realized one key thing — in order to develop as a speaker and provide immediate value to clients, I must continue learning, rehearsing and finding opportunities to speak. To that note, I’m investing in the HPS Grad School program to ignite the sparks within me coming out of those three days with Michael and Amy. More on that to come, as we kick off Grad School in December. 

It’s also that time of the year when travelers start to calculate miles and status, and I’m no different. I travel monthly, sometimes more, and not always on the same airline. So imagine my pleasant surprise when I realized I need just one round trip flight to secure Alaska Air MVP status for 2017. Instead of burning a day flying to Seattle and back, I want to use this chance for good.

I am offering a free social media coaching session, workshop or presentation before Dec 22nd, provided I can fly there on Alaska Airlines (from PDX). I’d also accept an invitation for a round of golf. (I’m shooting mid-80s with my new TaylorMade M2s). My ideal client would combine the two offers into one day.

My proficiencies are in social media, content marketing, and real-time marketing. My latest presentations include an interactive workshop titled “Creating Content that Moves, Sings and Smiles”, and program called “Rehearse for Real-Time: Preparing for the Moments that Make Content Great” (which can be a keynote, breakout or workshop). If a big presentation doesn’t fit, consider hiring me for small group or individual media training on how to best use social media to build relationships with fans and customers.
