It’s been a few days since I’ve returned from Las Vegas and the notes from the Social Media Conference are still here in my computer, not getting out into the world. Since I want my *Boogie blog to be the one I share with family and friends (think weekly emails from my college days, but better), I knew it was time to share more of the “professional” thoughts and comments on another space. Enter “Pass the (Social Media) Kool Aid”, a blog for communicators, PR peeps and social media fans (and really, anyone who wants to check it out).
The first posts will be reflections and comments from last week’s discussions & lessons learned. I’ll keep contributing my own thoughts & observations, but also include links and opinions to other people’s posts, hot news and current events. The posts will probably be much shorter (and more frequent) than my Boogie posts, since I tend to think in “Twitter” sized thoughts these days. So, if you followed me on here and want to see what I’m up to in the 9-to-5 world, please add http://passthekoolaid.wordpress.com to your del.icio.us links and RSS feed as well.
And stay tuned on this, the *Boogie blog, for a recap of Vegas from a first-timer’s perspective — and why I can’t wait to go back!
